There will be a debate day each term (1-3). This day will consist of the prepared debate plus a limited prep debate. I suggest you hold the prepared debate in the period before lunch, give the teams the limited moot at lunch and let them plan, then have the limited debate in the period after lunch.
The debate times are 5min speeches with a 3 min Leader’s Reply. Obviously the limited prep debates are unlikely to reach these limits.
If we need a final, I will try and hold it at the end of Term 3 so as not to interrupt your exam prep.
There will be 3 pools each round. Please try and share hosting responsibilities amongst yourselves. Be prepared to adjudicate if you are the coach. The hosting school will need to supply chair people and timekeepers. Contacts:
